Mentoring for massage success
supporting you in your massage career – every step of the way

GROUP MENTORING PROGRAMME (6 FORTNIGHTLY SESSIONS)
Attention all massage therapists!!  Is this you?...

  • “I can’t get enough clients.  And the ones I do see often don’t rebook…”
  • “I love doing massage, but I really struggle with the business side of things…”
  • “I don’t know anything about marketing, and I feel embarrassed selling myself… “
  • “I’ve got quite a few clients, but I still don’t seem to be making much money…”

...  if so, you are definitely not alone, and mentoring can help!

A long, fulfilling – and profitable – career in massage demands continual and consistent input into ALL areas of your massage practice.  We all have times when we need help to maintain the energy, determination and focus that this level of commitment demands. Mentoring gives you the support you need, whatever stage of your massage career you’re at.

Group Mentoring is a fun, supportive and informative way to get lots of new ideas, strategies and techniques for building your massage practice – fast!  Topics that will typically be covered during the mentoring sessions include:

  • Setting up in practice
  • Getting clients: marketing and advertising skills
  • Keeping clients: client retention techniques, rebooking and referral skills
  • The challenges of self-employment
  • Business skills
  • Clinical theory and contraindications
  • Professional boundaries: the therapist/client relationship
  • Client handling techniques/customer service

Held fortnightly, the group is organised and facilitated by Helen Hunter, a graduate of the London College of Massage, who has been practicing and teaching massage for 17 years.  Helen set up
mentoring for massage success in response to the many stories she heard from therapists struggling to build their massage practices, particularly in the first 12-18 months after graduating.
