Anatomy & Physiology

This is the next stage for those who have successfully completed the Beginners course and wish to continue to Practitioner Level.

The Anatomy & Physiology course is in two modules, 8 weeks of Anatomy and 8 weeks of Physiology, there is a separate exam at the end of each module. Each course can be purchased and attended independently if required at a cost of £225.00. However both courses & exams must be completed to pass.

Full Course: £450.00

This course is also open to students of other therapies that require an A&P qualification.

Anatomy Module

This 8 week module covers the study of the body, particularly the Skeletal and Muscular Systems.

Course Outline:

Anatomy Basics & Terms of Movement
Skeletal System
Muscle Tissue
Muscle Contraction & Energy Sources
Bones, Joints, Muscles, Origin & Insertions of the shoulder girdle, upper & lower limbs, spine, trunk & head

Attendance: 6.30pm to 9.30pm One evening a week

A £55 deposit will be required when booking, the balance is due before commencement of course.

Physiology Module

Price: £225.00

This 8 week module covers the systems of the body and how they function.

Course Outline:-

Cells, Tissue & Skin
Central & Peripheral Nervous System
Sense Organs & Endocrine Control
Circulatory System
Respiratory System
Degestive System
Urinary System

Attendance: 6.30pm to 9.30pm One evening a week

A £55 deposit will be required when booking, balance is due before commencement of course.
