Beginners Introductory Weekend Course

This fun & relaxing weekend is a great way to learn some basic massage routines and explore your interest in massage without having to commit to a full study programme. Although we call it the Intro it is actually the first part of our Beginners weekend course and is all practical/hands on and covers:-

• A 'seated' neck, shoulder & head massage routine
• A massage routine for the back of legs, back, neck & face
• Towel etiquette
• Contra-indications to massage
• An introduction to Aromatherapy oils

Once you have attended this course and if you decide that you would like to complete the Beginners course, you can then enrol on the Follow Up Weekends.

There are a maximum of 10 students per class with a mix of male & female students of all ages. Please note our minimum age of entry is 21.

The tutor will demonstrate the techniques and you will then be paired with another member of the class and then practice the techniques.

A course manual is included in the course fee and issued on the first morning. Equipment & base oil will be provided but you are required to bring 2 large towels.

90% of students enrol on their own but if you wish to attend with a friend, you will both receive a 10% discount (both places must be booked in 1 transaction for discount to be applied).

Attendance: 10am to 4.30pm Saturday & Sunday
